- be open-minded. i used to be so black and white with everything. and in south africa, it still is literally very black and white. i was overly religious. it was you against me. i had something that you didn't. when i started working abroad and seeing the world, i saw what people had to offer. i saw how similiar we are.
- that people would stop fighting opinions. we need them. so many fights start over silliness. we need more acceptance in the world.
- i'm kind of doing that right now by living in spain--away from everyone. after living abroad for five years now, i kind of just crave some normalcy. i crave my own place. dinners with close friends. the simple things.
